- The Class of 2014 will have a class meeting today, Monday the 26th in Mrs. Chavis’s room after school. Hope to see you all there.

- The Miami Science Museum, is spearheading a new project titled MiaSci Teen Ambassadors. Monthly seminars will be held at the museum free of charge to anyone who wishes to attend. Future dates are October 28th December 3rd January 16th February 3rd March 30th April 28th and May 19th. If students attend all the seminars to the best of their ability, they will be awarded with a certificate of completion. Additionally, the Miami Science Museum does offer community service opportunities.
- Please post and send this to you school’s teachers and administrators so that their students hear word of our project. We will be sending additional information on the specific dates listed as that time gets closer.
- There will be TRY-OUTS for the Hispanic Heritage Show on September 26-27 at the auditorium. Participants need to attend one of those two days.
- Spanish Club meeting on September 27th, new members welcome after school in room 6205.
- Need help with your school work? NHS can help. Come to tutoring on Thursdays and Fridays from 2:30 to 3:30 in F Cafeteria. Remember to bring your own books.
- Kit-Kats 1st practice this upcoming Wednesday, September 28th after school.
- Please remember to turn in your note to excuse you absence; failure to provide the required documentation within three days upon your return to school will result in unexcused absence. Notes can be turned in to Student Services between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:15 am, during your lunch and after school from 2:20 – 3:00 pm.
