Attention ALL Freshman students:
Any 9th grade student interested in running for class office should pick up an application starting on Tuesday, September 2nd in room E230. To qualify to run for class office you have a cumulative un-weighted GPA of 2.0 or above, no conduct grade below a C and no 3’s in effort. Applications must be returned no later than Friday, September 5, 2008. If you have any questions please see Mr. Moffi in room E230.

THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO GET YOUR SENIOR CLASS SHIRT. PRE-SALES WILL BEGIN NEXT Wednesday, September 3, 2008 AND WILL END Friday, September 5, 2008. The price of the shirt $20.00. Sales will take place in front of cafeteria F.
There will be auditions for MLEC's play "Alice in Wonderland" on Wed & Thurs. Sept. 3 & 4th @ 2:40PM in the Auditorium. Please have a prepared one minute monologue for your audition, cold readings will also be provided.
The Music Club will meet today Sept. 3rd at 2:45 in room F-123. All students interested in participating must be in attendance.
FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) will have a meeting on Wednesday, September 10 at 2:40 pm in room # E113 New Members are welcome to attend!!!
Students are reminded to come to school each day on time! Students if you are absent, remember that 5 unexcused absences in an annual course, or 3 unexcused absences in a semester course, will result in a no credit (N/C) for the class. Remember if you are absent you MUST bring a note and receive an admit to excuse your absence. DO NOT GIVE YOUR NOTE TO YOUR HOMEROOM TEACHER. Admits are issued in the Student Services Office prior to the start of school each day and during lunch and after school in the Main Office with Ms. Cheron. Do not be absent unnecessarily.
Students arriving tardy to school must sign in at the Tardy Center in the C Cafeteria. Students with excessive tardies will be required to serve an Administrative Detention. BE ON TIME!!! AND COME TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY!!! If you have any questions regarding attendance please speak to Mrs. Forteza in the Student Services Office.
