TEACHERS, in order to receive TEC Credit for this Thursday’s Early Realease Day, you must pre-register before attending this session. Be mindful that registration is closed two hours before the start of the session; your participation can only be validated by signing in and completing the assignment which will be provided during the session.
Women of Tomorrow, our first mentor session will be Wednesday, September 20th from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM in Building "c" in the Principal's Conference Room.
Do you like interacting with your school and community? Well, join Interact for its weekly meeting on Wednesday, September 20 in room E202. Club officers will be nominated and elected at this week’s meeting. Come by room E202 to pick up a brochure and membership application.
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in joining the Technical Honor Society. Meeting is Wednesday September 20 at 2:30 in room E124.
Members of EESAC are reminded that we are to participate in a joint meeting with the Curriculum Council on Tuesday, September 19. The meeting will be held in the "C" Cafeteria and will start at 2:40pm. All elected, and appointed members, are urged to attend this important meeting. The School Improvement Plan will be discussed and we, as EESAC, will need to participate in the discussions, modify the Plan if necessary, but more importantly - reach consensus on approving the Plan.
Listen up everyone! Dance tickets are now on sale for the greatest dance of the year. The Back to School 80's dance will be Friday, Sept. 22 in F cafeteria from 6:00 p.m.-9:00p.m. Tickets are only $5.00, purchase your ticket during 1st or 2nd lunch. Please come by E228 for details.
Students if your home school is American Senior High, the Boys Basketball Team will hold open tryouts on Tues., Sept. 19 from 2:45pm to 4:45 pm. Coach Gaston will be on campus today during both lunches at the Principal’s Patio, if you have questions about Boys Basketball at American Senior High.
All students interested in joining the sports/ fitness club please stop by the gym to get a parent permission form from Ms. Arterburn or Mr. Lopez. There will be a $14.00 fee for school insurance. The last day you can join is on Wednesday, September 27.
We will be having practices for the Hispanic Heritage show beginning this Wednesday and continuing from Tuesday to Thursday. Spanish club meetings on Wednesdays on room f-207, after school. New members welcome.
Students, you can have your Academy logo embroidered on your school uniform shirt for, please contact uniform vendors. You may also purchase patches as well.
