Health Academy students: The first HOSA meeting will be Wednesday August 23, 2006 after school in Mrs. Algaze's Room E124 All Officers must attend!

Students whose home school is Miami Carol City Senior High – If you are interested in joining the Marching Band

This is a reminder from the CAP office to all students and teachers regarding free and reduced lunch.

Students – especially juniors and seniors – I can help those students who have free or reduced lunch with college expenses.

I can help pay for the SAT and ACT college entrance exams and college application fees. It is vital that you take home these forms and return them to the school, ASAP so I can help you with college today. If you have any questions, come by my office in Student services.

The first ACT is September 16 – and this Friday is the deadline to register for that exam. Schedules for these exams have been placed in teacher’s boxes to post in their classrooms. The schedule is also in your planner, or you can go on line to Collegeboard.com or ACT.org. Plan ahead – and register early for these important tests.

SAVE THE DATE!!! September 13th, Wednesday, Resource Fair/Open House.

SENIORS!!! If you are missing credits you must see your guidance counselor ASAP to sign up for night school / adult education in your home school.

UNIFORMS – Students must wear their appropriate school uniform by Monday, August 28th.

Additionally, all students should be wearing their IDs!

If your home school is American and are interested in participating in Girls' Volleyball please contact Coach Trimble at (305) 978-3394. Tryouts will be held the first two weeks of school.

There will be a brief Drama Club Meeting for all Officers and returning members Wednesday August 23rd in F-206 at 2:30PM.

Students needing Community Service – Please see Mrs. Jessie Collins ASAP. There are community service activities that will begin taking place Monday, after-school.

Reminder to all teachers – Please submit your Revised Substitute Information sheet to Mrs. D’Pierre ASAP.

All Culinary Arts students that bought uniforms can pick them up before 11:00AM or after 12:30PM on Wednesday. "Not during lunch, please."

All SGA Officers, there will be a meeting TODAY, after-school in Room E230.
