IDIOSYNCRASY is a noun which means a peculiarity or an eccentricity.
Here are two examples of IDIOSYNCRASY used in a sentence:
Eating green beans drenched in ketchup for breakfast was one of Jordana’s idiosyncrasies.
The doctor’s interest was aroused by an idiosyncrasy in Bill’s skull: there seemed to be a coin slot in the back of his head.

The Competition Cheerleading Squad is holding tryouts for next year, on May 8 and 9 at 2:45 in the Dance Room in F Building. Please wear appropriate clothing to practice. Anyone interested, please join us at practice on Wednesday, May 3 2:45 in the Dance Room.
