Administrative
- Jaguars it looks like we will finally finish our school pictures. The rescheduled picture day will be Monday, November 14th. This day is for all even day English classes that did not take yearbook pictures due to hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma.
Clubs/Classes
- All Hispanic Heritage show performers- there is mandatory practice tomorrow and Thursday. All performers must be present.
- The DECA fashion show meeting is today at 2:40 in A118.
- Members of the Key Club and In-School-Chamber will meet today with Ms. J. Collins.
- The cheerleading squad has one opening. If you are interested, tryouts are today @ 2:40 in the dance room in F building.
- The sign language club will meet today after school in room E221. Beginners and all signing levels are welcome.
- There will be an important Class of 2006 meeting tomorrow after school in room E111.
- There will be a 5000 Role Models of Excellence meeting tomorrow in Mr. O'Brien’s room E114 at 2:40. All members are urged to attend.
- Try-outs for the Jaguar All-Star Team will take place after school in the Gym this Thursday Nov. 10th. Jaguars from every grade level are asked to try out. This is not a class team, but a school team. Remember, you must have proof of school insurance to be on the team.
- SADD club will meet Thurs. at 2:35 in Rm. F125
- There will be a mandatory FBLA Meeting Monday, November 14, 2005 at 2:40 p.m. in room E113 to discuss upcoming district competition.
- Attention all SGA officers and class of 2006 officers-just a reminder that there is an important meeting this afternoon in E230.
Miscellaneous
- Jaguars are you ready- Homecoming week is next week and this will be the best yet. Our Homecoming basketball Jam against MLEC graduates will take place Thursday, Nov. 17th at 6pm in the gym and tickets are $3. Our Homecoming dance is Friday, Nov. 18th at the Miami Airport Hilton. This will be a Night of Elegance. Tickets are $45. Tickets for both events will go on sale by this week.
- Congratulations to Tyler Rose who bowls for American Sr. and Jorge Jaehning who bowls for Barbara Goleman Sr. Both Tyler and Jorge did extremely well at yesterday’s district championships and both qualified to participate in the state championships in Orlando.
