Administrative
- Please be advised that the faculty meeting and EESAC meeting dates have been changed.
EESAC meeting will be held today at 2:45 in E113.
Faculty meeting will be held October 17th at 2:45 in the C cafeteria.
Academic
- Teachers- the PSAT will be given tomorrow. Teachers please be sure that your students know their testing room and room relocations. Second period will be extended. All classes are to remain in second period until they are dismissed over the PA system. Again, all classes are to remain in second period until they are dismissed over the PA system any student scheduled to take the PSAT must have a picture id in order to be admitted to testing. Teachers, because we will be using the English classrooms and the social studies classroom for PSAT testing it is imperative that you read the list of relocations to all of your classes . You received this list printed on bright pink paper in your mailbox. Again, please read the list to all of your classes today.
- Students – FIU will be hosting a college fair on their South campus – Wednesday – October 19 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Over 100 university representatives will be in attendance for you and your parents to meet. Don’t miss this great opportunity to start investigating your college options. Clubs/Classes
- Make up Junior ring orders will take place today in the F cafeteria during lunch.
- Practice for the Hispanic Heritage show is after school daily in the F cafeteria with Pablo Rodriguez. Please see Mr. Rodriguez in F207 for more information.
- Do you want to learn sign language? The Sign Language Club will be having its first meeting today after school in room E221. All signers and beginners welcome.
- Sponsors please be sure that a club roster is forwarded to the activities office by October 13th. If you have not had a meeting please do so before the 13th so that your roster is complete. Sponsors will meet tomorrow in F118. There should be no club meetings tomorrow as all sponsors need to be present.
- Seniors your panoramic picture will be taken this Friday in the gym. Get your banners and signs ready. Teachers on this day all seniors will report directly to the gym. If you have an all senior class, you are asked to be present.
- Key Club will meet today at 2:35 in E132.
- Come see MLEC's first plays of the year, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and "Tell Tale Heart". The shows take place October 20 and 21st. at 7:30PM. Tickets are onsale for $5 starting today during lunch !
- There will be a mandatory yearbook meeting tomorrow after school in room E207.
- Attention all FBLA members- Please see Ms. Williams in room E113 for your field trip form.
