Administrative
- Attention post-secondary students: This is a reminder that your final payment is due Tuesday, September 9th. If payment is not made on time you will be withdrawn from class. All post-secondary instructors must turn in their roll sheets at the end of the day today so that hours can be posted and students’ financial aid can be processed.
- Any student interested in being Miami Lakes Educational Center’s student United Way Ambassador needs to see Ms. Corbett-Perdomo today to sign up.
- Teachers-progress report day will be Wednesday, September 7th. The 6th period day schedule will be printed on the back of the cover letter.
Academic
- Any student who earned CPR certification last year in Ms Handley's class please stop by room Fll8 after school today to pick up your card.
Clubs/Classes
- Freshmen- applications for class officers need to be returned to Mr. Moffi before the end of today!
- Club Rush week will be next week September 6th thru the 9th. This event will be the first chance for clubs to earn Jaguar spirit points.
- 5000 Roles Models of Excellence Club will have a meeting today in Mr. O’Brien’s room at 2:35 for all returning members to discuss plans for Club Rush Week the meeting will be brief so be on time!
- Future Educators of America members need to stop by F106 during both lunches or after school today.
- The math club will be meeting today at 2:40 pm in room E119. Everyone is welcome.
- Interact will have a meeting next week Wednesday, September 7th in E215 at 2:40pm. If you sign up for Interact during Club Rush Week make sure you attend this meeting.
- The next yearbook meeting will be next Wednesday, September 7th in E207 at 2:35 and the results for yearbook positions will be announced at this meeting.
- Attention all actors!!!! The Halloween school play "Tell Tale Heart" and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" will be holding auditions Wednesday, Sept. 7th and Thursday Sept. 8th at 2:40PM in the Auditorium. Please bring a one minute monologue. Those without monologues will be given cold readings to audition with.
Miscellaneous
- Our 1st class color day will be Thursday, September 8th and Jaguar Pride day will be Friday, September 9th.
- The back to school dance has been re-scheduled for Friday, September 9th.
- Senior Parent Night has been re-scheduled for Thursday, September 15th at 7pm.
