A Long John Silver's Restaurant representative will be on campus to interview individuals 18 and older for evening employment next week April 12th from 9am until 11am. If you are interested in interviewing, please see Ms. Jessie Collins in building E Student Services.

Clubs/Classes
Calling all poets, singers, actors, and comedians - it is time to show off your talents at MLEC’s 2nd Annual Coffeehouse Talent Showcase. Faculty and staff are invited to perform. See or email Ms. Corbett-Perdomo if you would like to perform. Get your tickets in the cafeteria today. Tickets are $5. Remember, no tickets will be sold at the door.
Coffeehouse auditions will be held this afternoon in Mr. Grau’s room, not the auditorium.

Miscellaneous
MAST Academy’s Annual College Night will be held Wednesday, April 13th at 6:30 pm. All Miami Lakes Educational Center students are invited to attend. More than 50 outstanding colleges and universities from as far away as California and Maine will be there. All of the U. S. Service Academies will be present, and there will be 15 HBCU’s from all over the country. Also on hand will be most of the Marine Maritime Academies and institutions from every part of the country offering naval architecture, marine and ocean engineering, marine biology and research. They are particularly interested in recruiting South Florida Students. In addition to the college fair there will be a number of college information workshops for parents and students on important topics. Mast Academy College Night is open to all parents and students in South Florida. So be sure to tell your friends, neighbors, youth groups and organizations to attend next week Wednesday April 13th at 6:30 pm. There are no admissions or parking fees.
