A Moment in Black History
Today in 1853 the first Black YMCA branch was organized in Washington, D.C. by Anthony Bowen and in 1964 Muhammad Ali wins his first World Heavyweight Championship when he defeated Sonny Liston.

TV Production will present a special video commemorating Black History Month. The video will begin promptly at 10:00 and will end at 10:05.

All faculty, staff, and students need to have on an ID at all times when on campus. If you have lost yours or it has been damaged, please get a new one as soon as possible.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the production of yesterday’s Black History Show. It was truly one of the best assemblies we have seen. Congratulations to all of the performers for a job well done.
Academic
All 11th and 12th graders who are not testing Monday and Tuesday next week need to report to their vocational instructors.

National Honor Society will meet Wednesday, March 2nd in E234 at 2:40 PM. All seniors NHS members must attend to plan induction and graduation arrangements.
Announcing auditions for the spring play! Like acting or being in the spot light or do you like working behind the scenes? Well, come try out for the next school play. Auditions will be held next week March 2nd and 3rd from 2:30PM to 4PM in the auditorium. Please bring a one minute monologue or you will be able audition with a cold reading. If you have any questions ask a Theatre Techie or Mr. Goslin in F206
Miscellaneous
Seniors who took digital pictures with a camera that is three mega pixels or more, please bring your memory sticks or flash cards to the activities office to be up loaded for use in your full color yearbook.
Additionally, anyone with digital pictures of the Black History Show should also bring them to the activities office.
