All faculty, staff, and students should have on an ID at all times when on campus.
Students, fines for overdue books in the media center will now begin Tuesday, February 22nd. Make sure you either return your books or re-new them by tomorrow afternoon to avoid fines.
Teachers, there will be an important faculty meeting Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 2:40 p.m. in the “C” cafeteria. Please plan to attend.
Academic
Students: FCAT tutoring scheduled for Saturday February 19th has been changed to Friday, February 18th the teacher planning day from 9am until 12 noon because of the long weekend. Again, there will be no tutoring this Saturday. Tutoring will be on Friday.
Teachers - this is a reminder that Miami Lakes Ed. Center's College Fair will be held tomorrow in Cafe. C. A revised schedule for this event was placed in your box. Teachers, please adhere to the schedule also remind students about proper behavior while in attendance. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Mathos.
The following students need to pick up transcripts from the registrar if you have not already done so: Nayroma Martinez, Ashley Jitta, Dayana Cintron, Fabricio Rivas, Guillermo Espinosa, Nina Castillo, and David Zaldivar .
Clubs/Classes
Juniors, you need to be on campus to line up for the ring ceremony by 6:15pm You are late if you get here after 6:15. The ceremony begins at 7pm.
Seniors to purchase your ticket, you must check with Ms. Jerome (the school treasurer) to clear any financial obligations then see Mr. A. Rodriguez in E204. Tickets are $23 and going fast. Those who have already bought a ticket and received a field trip form must return the field trip form to Mr. A. Rodriguez in E204 TOMORROW before 2:40pm. If you do not return the form tomorrow before 2:40pm you will not attend.
Faculty, staff and students order your JAD Acrylics key chains, clipboards and more from any FBLA member or Ms. Williams in E113.
National Honor Society is having a meeting today at 2:40 PM in room E 234.
The MLEC drama department invites you to attend “A Night of One Act Plays” tomorrow. Tickets are five dollars. This will be the only show so get your tickets today.
There will be a SECME meeting tomorrow after school in room E-221.
Attention: All students who auditioned for the Black History show, a list of acts that qualified has been posted outside Mr. U's classroom (E237). The practice will begin promptly after school today in Mr. Grau's room (F123.) All acts MUST be present.
The American Sign Language Club will meet today in E221 at 2:40pm.
