Attention all administrative staff and department heads: All property inventory reports are due today.
The “C” Cafeteria will be open tomorrow from 11:00 - 12:00. The Teacher Planning Day is for the High School only.
Academic
Jaguars, the FCAT is coming! Sophomores, the first test is the FCAT Writing assessment, which will be administered Tuesday, February 8, 2005. To make sure that all jaguars are successful tutoring is in full swing. Tutoring sessions for reading, math and science are being held Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and even Saturdays. Check with any teacher for times and locations. Teachers, please post the tutoring schedule in your room.
Attention all Jaguars! We need a new slogan to put on our FCAT pouches this year. Last year we used "bag the cat." students who believe they have a slogan that will work for this year should submit their slogans to Ms. Lawrence in E202 by next Wednesday, January 19, 2005.
Clubs/Classes
Students, the last day to purchase any personalization on your yearbook has been extended to January 21st. So if you want personalization on your yearbook make sure that you have purchased your yearbook and the personalization by January 21st.
Attention all fashion show participants: You must attend all rehearsals. This week’s rehearsals are as follows: Hip-Hop Scene- January 13th (today) Prep/Pop Scene- Wednesday, January 19th and Thursday, January 20th
There will be an important FBLA meeting tomorrow in E213 immediately after school regarding district competitions next Tuesday.
Club and class sponsors there will be a sponsors meeting Monday, the 24th.
DECA’s fashion show is in need of talent. We need people with talent to entertain our audience during intermissions of the following categories:
• Indie/ Neo-Soul
• Hip-Hop
• Preppy
• Punk/Rock
If you are interested, auditions will be in the auditorium on rehearsal days from 2:40pm to 3:40pm. Rehearsal schedule is available in A118.
Seniors, there will be a Cap & Gown Informational Assembly next week January 20th.
The National Honor Society meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday, January 19th at 2:35 PM in room E234. Dues of $25 must be paid at this time.
All HOSA competitors need to meet in Ms. Martinez’s room every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for practice.
If anyone is interested in the Black History Brain Bowl Team, there will be a meeting after school next Wednesday with Mr. U in E 237.
Seniors, Tuesday next week is the last day to turn in your senior profiles and baby pictures for the yearbook.
