Kirby the Border Collie visits Child Care Operations, photos by Marti McLean
Kirby is an ABCA registered Border Collie, born in Homestead, Florida, on December 17th, 1994. He was adopted on February 9th, 1995, at nine weeks of age. At three years old, he was certified as an Animal Assisted Therapy Dog. As such, he visits the sick and injured at various health care facilities in Miami-Dade County with his owner/handler, John Lovell, the MLEC Radio Broadcasting Instructor.

Kirby is a certified Animal Assisted Therapy Dog and loves kids
