Program Outlook
Students learn to design, build and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN's) and Wide Area Networks (WAN's) with direct hands-on practices on Cisco internetworking equipment. Students who successfully complete this program will be prepared to test for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) examination. The Academy also offers advanced classes to prepare students for the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) exam. The program also provides supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in the IT occupations Students are eligible to join ICA, the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, and are also eligible to join the National Vocational Technical Honor Society.
