SENIORS!!! If you are missing credits you must see your guidance
counselor ASAP to sign up for night school / adult education in your
home school.
Students this is a reminder that CLUB RUSH is taking place this week
during both lunches; this is your opportunity to find out more about
MLEC’s clubs. Stop by and join a new club today!!! To those clubs
participating, please make sure to set up and staff your tables prior to
both lunches.
TEACHERS THIS IS A REMINDER – THE COMMUNICATIONS AND ENTERTAINMENT
ORIENTATION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO TODAY, AUGUST 30TH at 12:45PM in the
auditorium.
Activities buses will resume effective Wednesday, September 5th, 2007.
Freshman interested in running for Class of 2011 office see Mr. Moffi in
E-230.
JAGUARS!!! – This Friday, we will celebrate our 1st Pep-Rally! Students
show your school pride by wearing our colors TEAL & BLACK!
Students interested in participating in free throw shooting, or dancing
during the Pep-Rally, see Ms. Castro during both lunches in F-106 the
Student Activities Office.
OPEN-CALL AUDITION – DO YOU WANT TO BE THE TOP CAT, SEE MS. CASTRO IF
YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BEING OUR MASCOT, THE JAGUAR!!!
This announcement is for any junior wishing to take the PSAT – which
will be administered here at MLEC on Wed. – Oct. 17.
The PSAT is part of the National Merit Scholarship Program which is an
annual academic competition for college recognition and scholarships
that is open to all US high school juniors. This is a great
opportunity for you so don’t miss out. The cost is $13.
Mr. Moffi and Ms. Mathos are starting to collect so see them ASAP.
FRIDAY, AUGUST, 31ST IS THE LAST DAY THAT STUDENTS CAN SUBMIT A REQUEST
FOR SCHEDULE CHANGE TO STUDENT SERVICES. THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY
NO MORE REQUESTS ACCEPTED AFTER FRIDAY.
Every nine weeks, students with perfect attendance, as well as NO
TARDIES, will have the opportunity to win various prizes.
Students with perfect attendance for the entire school year will have
the opportunity to win a very special prize. Students will be required
to have been in school on time throughout the school year.
