SENIORS!!! Senior Parent Night will take place this evening Wednesday, January 21st at 6:30 p.m. Senior parents must sign acknowledgement form regarding requirements for senior activities in order for you to participate in any senior event. These will be available tonight. SEE YOU THERE!

Students, remember that yearbooks are on sale!  Reserve your full color copy now!  The last three years, yearbooks have SOLD OUT!  Once they're sold out, they're gone for good! Yearbooks can be purchased from Mrs. Borges in room E-207 before school and during lunch.

The last day to purchase personalizations (like having your name engraved on the cover) is NEXT Wednesday, the 28th!

Sign Language Club meets every Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in E-140.

SADD meets Tuesdays afterschool at 2:40 p.m. in the student services conference room.

Anime club will meet on Thursday, January 22 in the media center. 

The deadline for the HOSA breakfast has been extended to Jan. 23rd the amount due is $20.00 and is to be paid to Mrs. Pierce In rm. B228

The African American Club is now accepting payments for the HBCU / College tour.  Anyone interested in attending please see Mr. Campbell in student services.

There will be a mandatory African American Club meeting on 1-23-09 at 2:35 p.m. in room E-209...Mrs. Perdomo's room.

If you are taking an Advanced Placement class through Florida Virtual School and wish to take the AP exam at MLEC, please see Mrs. Ambas-Viada in room E238 by January 30th to order your test.

Students are reminded to come to school each day on time! Students if you are absent, remember that 5 unexcused absences in an annual course, or 3 unexcused absences in a semester course, will result in a no credit (N/C) for the class.  Remember if you are absent you MUST bring a note and receive an admit to excuse your absence. DO NOT GIVE YOUR NOTE TO YOUR HOMEROOM TEACHER. Admits are issued in the Student Services Office prior to the start of school each day and during lunch and after school in the Main Office with Ms. Cheron. Do not be absent unnecessarily. 
Students arriving tardy to school must sign in at the Tardy Center in the C Cafeteria. Students with excessive tardies will be required to serve an Administrative Detention.  BE ON TIME!!! AND COME TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY!!!  If you have any questions regarding attendance please speak to Mrs. Forteza in the Student Services Office.
