FRIDAY, AUGUST 29TH IS THE LAST DAY THAT STUDENT SERVICES IS ACCEPTING REQUESTS FOR SCHEDULE CHANGES FROM STUDENTS.
 
ALL SENIORS THAT NEED TO MAKE UP CREDITS IN NIGHT SCHOOL IN ORDER TO GRADUATE IN JUNE MUST SEE THEIR GUIDANCE COUNSELOR BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN THE REQUIRED FORM.
 
Students, you must re-apply for free and reduced lunch each school year. Juniors and Seniors, remember that fee waivers for college applications and exams may be based on your lunch applications. STUDENTS TURN THOSE APPLICATIONS IN!!!
 
Students, you will only be released to those individuals who are named on your emergency contact card. Please return those cards as soon as possible.
 
Students, you are required to wear your Academy Uniform and adhere to the dress code policy. Ladies no open toed shoes are to be worn expect on Dress for Success days. Additionally, CAPRI style pants are not allowed. All students must display their Student ID. Students not complying with the uniform policy will serve an ADMINISTRATIVE DETENTION! Detentions are served Fridays, after school.
 
C Cafeteria is open for lunch payments are cash only, the C CAF does not accept free or reduced lunch.
 
SAVE THE DATE TEACHERS - The first academy meetings will take place on September 16, 2008.
 
There will be a short Drama Club Meeting today, Thursday, August 28th in the Auditorium from 2:30PM to 3PM.  
 
A meeting for all Club Sponsors for the 2008-2009 school year will be held today, Thursday, August 28th immediately after school in the C Cafeteria. Attendance is mandatory for all returning or interested sponsors. Please e-mail Ms. Castro if you are unable to make the meeting.
 
Students riding the bus after school, please make sure you look on the board by the bus loop in the back of the E building for the location of your bus. Buses do not park in the same location everyday. Please make sure you locate your bus and board as soon as possible. Don’t be left behind!!!
 
Students are reminded to come to school each day on time! Students if you are absent, remember that 5 unexcused absences in an annual course, or 3 unexcused absences in a semester course, will result in a no credit (N/C) for the class.  Remember if you are absent you MUST bring a note and receive an admit to excuse your absence. DO NOT GIVE YOUR NOTE TO YOUR HOMEROOM TEACHER. Admits are issued in the Student Services Office prior to the start of school each day and during lunch and after school in the Main Office with Ms. Cheron. Do not be absent unnecessarily. 
Students arriving tardy to school must sign in at the Tardy Center in the C Cafeteria. Students with excessive tardies will be required to serve an Administrative Detention.  BE ON TIME!!! AND COME TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY!!!  If you have any questions regarding attendance please speak to Mrs. Forteza in the Student Services Office.
