SENIORS!!! If you are missing credits you must see your guidance counselor ASAP to sign up for night school / adult education in your home school.
 
Students this is a reminder that CLUB RUSH is taking place this week during both lunches; this is your opportunity to find out more about MLEC’s clubs. Stop by and join a new club today!!! To those clubs participating, please make sure to set up and staff your tables prior to both lunches.
 
Mr. Campbell will be located in front of the "F" cafeteria during both lunches today.  Applications and sign up roosters will be available for the Debate Team and African American History Club. 
 
Thank you to all our Academies for an outstanding series of Orientations.
 
Activities buses will resume effective Wednesday, September 5th, 2007.

JAGUARS!!! – We look forward to seeing everyone at our Pep-Rally this afternoon. Teachers - Students will be dismissed to the gymnasium over the PA. Please do not release students until instructed to do so. Teachers are reminded to take attendance prior to the Pep-Rally.

This announcement is for any junior wishing to take the PSAT – which will be administered here at MLEC on Wed. – Oct. 17.
The PSAT is part of the National Merit Scholarship Program which is an annual academic competition for college recognition and scholarships that is open to all US high school juniors.  This is a great opportunity for you so don’t miss out. The cost is $13.
Mr. Moffi and Ms. Mathos are starting to collect so see them ASAP. 
 
FRIDAY, AUGUST, 31ST IS THE LAST DAY THAT STUDENTS CAN SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR SCHEDULE CHANGE TO STUDENT SERVICES.  THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO MORE REQUESTS ACCEPTED AFTER FRIDAY.
 
Every nine weeks, students with perfect attendance, as well as NO TARDIES, will have the opportunity to win various prizes. 
 
Students with perfect attendance for the entire school year will have the opportunity to win a very special prize. Students will be required to have been in school on time throughout the school year.
