Seniors a small number of Grad Bash tickets remain. Tickets will be sold during both lunches prior to 12:30 p.m. Seniors must pay all financial obligations prior to purchasing Grad Bash tickets!!! Don't be left out! Supplies limited!
 
Jaguars- It's time for the best show you'll ever see.  MLEC's 4th Annual Coffeehouse Talent Showcase will take place April 13th - So poets, dancers, actors, singers and, musicians come out for the first round of auditions this Thursday immediately after school in E209. In addition to trophies, cash prizes will also be awarded.
 
Faculty and staff - don't be shy!  Show off your talent and win a prize too. 
 
ALL STUDENTS THAT NEED TO MAKE UP FAILED CLASSES PLEASE SEE YOUR GUIDANCE COUNSELOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO PICK UP YOUR NIGHT SCHOOL FORM.  YOU WILL NOT BE APPROVED TO ATTEND NIGHT SCHOOL UNLESS YOU ARE CURRENTLY PASSING YOUR DAY CLASSES.   THE NEW NIGHT SCHOOL SESSION BEGINS APRIL 9, 2007.
 
Students interested in jobs during the summer with the Miami-Dade County Park and Recreation Department, stop by the career bulletin board in the student services office. Available position include park service aide, recreation leader, pool manager, pool/lake lifeguards, or swim instructor and range from $10-$15/hr. Or see Ms. Jessie Collins for more information.
 
Any student interested in running for Student Government or Class Office please pick up your application in Mr. Moffi’s room, E230. Completed applications are due to Mr. Moffi on Tuesday. March 27th 2007.
 
There will be an important Student Government meeting for all class officers today, March 20th 2007 at 2:40 in room E230 regarding the upcoming student elections.
 
Miami Lakes Educational Center would like to congratulate Giselle Serrano. Giselle was our nominee for the Katherine Menke Miller Community Service award scholarship. Every high school in the Miami Dade County area has a nominee, and only three receive the award – Giselle was one of them. This prestigious award comes with a $2000 dollar scholarship for college. So when you see Giselle, congratulate her.
 
Those members interested in running for NHS office for next year need to meet in Mrs. Mixco's room, Tuesday 3/20.
 
To all NHS members, there is a mandatory meeting Friday 3/23 in Mrs. Mixco's room. All members must attend.
