All students who need to make up failed classes please see your guidance counselor as soon as possible to pick up night school forms.  You will not be approved to attend night school unless you are currently passing your day classes. The new night school session begins April 9, 2007.

Seniors may purchase their Grad Bash tickets during both lunches prior to 12:30 p.m. Seniors must pay all financial obligations prior to purchasing Grad Bash tickets!!! Tickets will be on sale through Monday, March 19th. Buses are filing up. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!!!

Any senior who has not purchased a Cap and Gown, see Ms. Castro immediately.

Juniors attending the Busch Gardens class trip please pick up your field trip forms from Coach Lopez during lunch in the Gym. If you have not purchased your ticket you must do so by tomorrow March 13th!

In Honor of Albert Einstein's Birthday and the annual "PIE Day" both occurring on 3/14, (get it 3.14 (the area of a circle) the Science department is holding a Do You Know - Albert Einstein contest. Working by yourself, or in teams of two, the first 2 teams to provide the most answers to the Einstein questions posted on the bulletin board in the science hallway, the Media center, or obtained from your science teacher will win a PIE. Contest ends this Friday! and it’s the first ones with the answers - so remember to return your answers to your science teacher who will place the date and time on your answers sheet. Good luck!

The Interact Club members will meet Wednesday, March 14th in room E202.

Students in need of employment or willing to work at the Youth Fair located at 112 SW 24th Street, Tamiami Park for $7.50/hr should attend interviews being held Saturday, March 10th, 2007 from 11am – 1pm at the main entrance of the Park, look for Blue Tent/Roast Corn Concession Stand. Please take with you a copy of your school ID and Social Security Card. If you need additional information, please call Ms. Dawn Camacho at 786-586-6962.

Students interested in jobs during the summer with the Miami-Dade County Park and Recreation Department, stop by the career bulletin board in the student services office. Available positions include park service aide, recreation leader, pool manager, pool/lake lifeguards, or swim instructor and range from $10-$15/hr. Or see Ms. Jessie Collins for more information.

Attention all students – This Friday – March 16 - MLEC will be having an ACT practice exam. This will take place in Café C. It will start at 8:00 AM and end at 11:30 AM. This will help in your quest to enter the college of your choice and also with scholarships. If you are interested, you must see Ms. Mathos by Thursday – March 15.

There will be a Drafting Club meeting on Wednesday, March 14th, 2007 from 2:40pm to 4:00pm.

All adult students who will be graduating on March 29, 2007, please order your Cap & Gown for graduation. Cost is $20.00 and the deadline to purchase is Friday, March 16, 2007. There will be no exceptions. If you do not purchase your Cap & Gown, you will not march.
