The Annual United Way Campaign has begun. Be sure to bring your contribution to help as your class competes for some special incentives! Teachers please return United Way collection envelopes to the Student Activities Office by 10 a.m.

Last Thursday, Mr. Kynerd’s class collected $72 in one day to take the lead with Ms. Desire’s class in 2nd Place, and Ms. Gayla Williams’s class in 3rd. Rounding out the top 5 – Mr. O’Brien’s class in 5th, Mr. Bevilacqua’s class in 4th, Ms. Gayla Williams in 3rd, in 2nd Mr. Kynerd’s class and in a dramatic move Ms. Desire’s class collected $105, in just one day to take 1st Place.

October 27th will be the final day for Homeroom class collections!

The Drama Club will have a meeting on Wednesday October 25th at 2:40PM in Mr. Goslin's room F-206. All old and new members welcome. Also Auditions for MLEC's student directed play "Bang Bang" are coming up Nov. 1st and 2nd.

Attn: All FBLA members, Ms. Williams and Ms. Biddings are requesting your presence at the Harvest Festival Dance. Please wear your FBLA t-shirt or a red shirt.

The Music Club will meet on Wed. Oct. 25th. In room F-123. at 2:40 pm.

MLEC's Bible Group will be meeting tomorrow, Wednesday October 25th, at 2:40 in room E110. All who are interested are welcomed.

ASL club will meet today and tomorrow after school in the Culinary Arts classroom C-145.

There will be a 5000 Role Models of Excellence meeting tomorrow in Mr. O'Brien's room during your lunch time. Lunch will be provided for you. All members must attend to pick up their field trip form.

SECME students don’t forget to sign up for the Bridge Design Seminar at FIU, on Saturday, October 28th. For more information see Mr. Kynerd (CB29) or see Mr. Williams (E213).

Practices for the Hispanic Heritage Show will take place in the Auditorium after school NOW until the day of the show. MANDATORY dress rehearsals will take place TODAY, Wednesday, October 25th and Thursday, October 26th. AGAIN, IT’S MANDATORY

There will be a General HOSA Meeting today Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Important Issues such as HOSA Week will be discussed.

DECA is selling "Boo" Grams for $2 each.

DECA dues final payment is due Oct. 26th. No Exceptions!!!!!

All FBLA members who received a field tip form, please return to Ms. G. Williams in room # E113 by Friday 10/27/06.

Students who ordered uniform shirts and jackets, they will be available for pick-up outside the auditorium during both lunches TODAY ONLY.

The Drafting Club has changed its meeting date from October 24th to October 25th from 240-340PM. Please make plans to attend.

Every nine weeks, students with perfect attendance, as well as NO TARDIES, will have the opportunity to win an mp3 player. There will also be other prizes every nine weeks. With the beginning of a new marking period you have another opportunity to win!

Students with perfect attendance for the entire school year will have the opportunity to win a laptop computer. Students will be required to have been in school on time throughout the school year.

Students stay tuned as we hold our drawing for this last marking period’s perfect attendance winners!
