Juniors & Seniors – Herff Jones will be taking orders for Class Rings and Senior Announcements and Accessories during both lunches TODAY and tomorrow, Friday, October 13th.

MLEC’s third annual Diabetes Screening is this TOMORROW. Sign up for this free screening! Don’t forget to stop by for this free screening which will tell you various things like your blood pressure, glucose level, weight, mass, etc! See your English teachers or Mrs. Algaze in room E124 for more details.

Prospective NHS members, please pick up your applications to join the club in Mrs. Mixco's room (E-134 on odd days and E 127 on even days) or from any existing NHS members. The applications will be due October 16, 2006. Any questions see Mrs. Mixco

Practices for the Hispanic Show in F Cafeteria will take place after school today and tomorrow. Try-outs will be held today, October 12th at 2:30 in the F-cafeteria all participants must plan to attend.

Also, Teachers the Hispanic Luncheon will be on Monday, October 16th during first and second lunches in the Seltzer room. Tickets are $9.00, you can purchase tickets from Ms. Biddings in E-202, Ms. Forteza in E-221, Mr. A. Rodriguez in E-204 and Mr. P. Rodriguez in F-207.

All Candidates for the Class of 2010 please see Ms. Castro in the Student Activities Office (F-106), during both lunches or after school, to film your speech if you have not already done so.

Students interested in joining the National Honor Society need to see Mrs. Mixco in room E127 to pick up an application. All applications to the National Honor Society are DUE by October 16 in order to be considered.

Tickets are now on sale for MLEC's One Act Plays. 3 Plays in one evening. The shows will take place tonight and tomorrow, Friday October 12th and 13th at 7:30PM. Tickets are $5 and on sale during Lunch and in Mr. Goslin's room F206. Don't miss the first plays of the year!!!

Every nine weeks, students with perfect attendance, as well as NO TARDIES, will have the opportunity to win an mp3 player. There will also be other prizes every nine weeks. Students with perfect attendance for the entire school year will have the opportunity to win a laptop computer. Students will be required to have been in school on time throughout the school year.
