We will be administering the fall 2006 FCAT retake test Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Reading will be administered Tuesday, October 3rd and mathematics will be administered Wednesday, October 4th. Some of you received a bright orange flyer listing the names of the students you teach who will be taking either or both tests. Please remind the students of their assigned test rooms.

Attention students who have classes in E201- E209 and E236 Students remember that classes that normally meet in E201 through E209 and E236 will be relocated for testing Tuesday, October 3rd. Check with you teachers for you new locations.

Attention students retaking the FCAT: you must have a photo ID in order to test Tuesday October 3rd and/or Wednesday, October 4th. No student will be admitted to testing without id. Cell phones, pagers, blackberries and any other electronic communication devices must be turned in to the test administrator in the room. Students who will be testing are to report directly to their assigned rooms at 7:30 am. If you are unsure of your assigned testing room, ask any of your teachers for the information.

All Candidates for the Class of 2010 please see Ms. Castro in the Student Activities Office (F-106), Friday, during both lunches to film your speech.

Seniors – This is a reminder from the CAP office – If you are holding a Florman Family Foundation Scholarship application – Ms. Mathos now has the clean copies – with no typos. Please return those for a new application. Also, please remember to attach all materials - including the recommendation letters and transcripts – and return them to Ms. Mathos on – or before Oct. 4.

The last day to purchase a yearbook at $85 dollars is today! Buy yours NOW.

Seniors, if you have not taken your senior portrait, please call Fox-Mar and make an appointment soon or your picture will not appear in the yearbook! DEADLINE – October 22nd.

Students this is a reminder to submit your emergency contact card to your homeroom teacher by the end of this week, if you have not done so already.

SECME will be meeting, Thursday, September 28th at 2:35 p.m. in room CB29 (in the C building). Do you like competition? Interested in designing and building things? Are you artistic? Interested in Math or Science? SECME needs you! See Mr. Kynerd in room CB29 or Mr. Williams in room E213 for more info.

Students are you in need of community service join the Key Club and you will not have to stress anymore. New members are more than welcome to our meeting on Thursday, September 28th, 2006. For mire information please see Ms. Jessie Collins in Student Services in E-102Q. Current members MUST attend this meeting.

Students, you can have your Academy logo embroidered on your school uniform shirt for, please contact uniform vendors. Patches are also available for purchase.
