Junior class officers, there will be a meeting, Tuesday, September 12th at 2:45p.m. in room F-133, in the gym.

All students enrolled in the ESOL program will be administered the Comprehensive English Language Learning Assessment (CELLA), Monday, September 11, 2006 IN E136. Students are to report to E136 at 8:00 a.m. Teachers who have these students in their classes will be notified individually by a list in their mailboxes.

Jaguars, please remember to treat your school, like your home away from home. Please place trash in its place and help keep our school clean!

DECA members if you are interested in joining stop by room A102 for an application.

There will be AUDITIONS for MLEC's ONE ACT PLAY'S TODAY at 2:40PM in Building F's Auditorium. Please bring with you a one minute monologue. If you do not have a monologue prepared you will be able to do a cold reading during the audition. If you have any questions please see Mr. Goslin in F-206 or the Auditorium.

The Sophomore Class has rescheduled its 1st meeting on it will no longer be today, but Friday, September 8th at 2:40 p.m. in E213, Mr. Williams’ room.

Health Academy Students: HOSA Shirts are on-sale now, until September 15. Buy yours during lunch time!

HOSA is having a meeting Tuesday, September 12th for those who are interested in joining this year’s HOSA comities.

The PSAT will be given at MLEC on Wednesday, October 18. This important test will be given to all 9th and 10th grade students. 11th grade students may also opt to take this exam, but must pay $12. Ms. Mathos and Mr. Moffi will be collecting this fee starting today. For 11th grade students, this could be an opportunity to receive national recognition and possibly scholarship money to attend a college of their choice. Don’t miss out, especially if you’re serious about going to college.

The representative from FIU, UM, Nova Southeastern Univ., and Johnson and Wales will be presenting important college information to those who are interested in the coming weeks. If you would like to attend, come by the CAP office for a pass.

Students, uniform shirts must bear the appropriate academy logo by, Monday, September 11th.

Students, you can have your Academy logo embroidered on your school uniform shirt for, please contact uniform vendors. You may also purchase patches as well.
