Jaguars, please remember to treat your school, like your home away from home. Please place trash in its place and help keep our school clean!

All seniors the Senior Social will be held Friday, September 8th, 2006 in the F cafeteria during 2nd period. Make sure to adhere to the dress code, “dress for success”. Any questions come by Ms. Evans's room E 228.

There will be an '07 officers meeting Thursday in the F cafeteria. We will be preparing for the Senior Social.

There will be AUDITIONS for MLEC's ONE ACT PLAY'S on Sept. 6th, 7th, and 8th at 2:40PM in Building F's Auditorium. Please bring with you a one minute monologue. If you do not have a monologue prepared you will be able to do a cold reading during the audition. If you have any questions please see Mr. Goslin in F-206 or the Auditorium.

SADD club officers and returning members will have a meeting Wednesday, September 6th, after-school in F125.

The Drafting Club meeting on Wednesday, September 6th, 2006, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, September 13th. The meeting will take place in Room A-104 at 2:40 P.M. During the meeting, officers will be elected and club events for the coming year will be discussed.

DECA will be having its first meeting in room A102 @ 2:30 pm on Wed. Sept. 6th. DECA is open to all students, please come and join the fun

The Sophomore Class will have its 1st meeting on Wednesday, September 6th at 2:40 p.m. in E213, Mr. Williams’ room.

There will be an Interact meeting on Wednesday, September 6th, at 2:40pm in room E202, with Mrs. Biddings.

To all SGA and Class officers - Field trip forms for the District Student Government Meeting are due today. Please turn in your forms to Mr. Moffi in Room E 230.

FBLA’s first meeting will be today, Tuesday, September 5th, 2006 at 2:40 p.m. in room E202 (Ms. Biddings' room). New members are welcome. If you wish to join FBLA, applications will also be available at the meeting.

The Spanish Club will meet Wednesday, September 6th after school in room F-207. Any student that wants to participate in the Hispanic Heritage Show, come to room F-207 that day and sign in. The Spanish Club is looking for singers, poets, flamenco dancers, salsa dancers, guitar players, bands, etc. All are invited to attend.

Every nine weeks, students with perfect attendance, as well as NO TARDIES, will have the opportunity to win an MP3 player. There will also be other prizes every nine weeks.

Students with perfect attendance for the entire school year will have the opportunity to win a laptop computer. Students will be required to have been in school on time throughout the school year.

Students, uniform shirts must bear the appropriate academy logo by, Monday, September 11th.

Students, you can have your Academy logo embroidered on your school uniform shirt for $3.50, please see Coach Booker during lunch next week. You may also order patches for $3.50 as well. Patches will be available in 3 weeks.
